    NYLPUG Meeting with Logic developers
    Date: Thursday October 8, 2009 6:30PM
    Location: Apple Store Soho. (directions)

    Announcement: New York Logic Pro Users Group Meeting, 10.8.09

    Hello NY Logic Pro User Group members! We hope you all had a great summer.

    We are very pleased to kick off a new season of NYLPUG meetings with a Logic 9 special event.

    This meeting will take place at the Apple Soho Store theater on Thursday, October 8th, 6 PM (the day prior to the NY AES show).

    Our guests for this meeting will be Manfred Knauff and Thorsten Adam (Logic Studio Product Designers), and Steffan Diedrichsen and Steffen Gehring (Logic Studio DSP developers). They will be discussing Flex Editing in Logic Studio. Steve and Jonathan will provide an overview of new features in Logic 9.

    That meeting sounds great! I'd go, but for the small matter of the Atlantic Ocean... are those meetings documented in any way (Youtube, or even audio?), for people who can't attend?

    yes please.. from someone on the other side of the world i really enjoyed being able to watch those "podcasts" of the NYLPUG from a couple of years ago.. will you video this one jonathan?

    Oh! I misread the date on the above post but my sentiments below are the same.
    The NYLPUG had it's monthly meeting this past week in Manhattan and I was in attendance (thru the nasty cold rain & wind.)
    There was no video/audio documentation of this event.
    Steve Horelick was great showing some tips & tricks on Logic 9 and answering questions.
    As expected, 2 hours is just not enough time to really pick Steve's brain.

    If you ever get the opportunity, check out one of these meetings. They are a wealth of information!
