Logic X Changing length of MIDI-input notes in MIDI Draw

I often enter notes in MIDI Draw from the keyboard. I can only get eighth notes which is a pain when I want an ostinato part of sixteenths. I have to resize and move all the notes to their correct positions. Whereas if I could set the value to sixteenths in the first place I could simply play the part.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default value as and when required?

I have figured it out!! First you open the Step Input Keyboard - select the note value you want. This also applies to notes you then enter on your real keyboard.

Maybe this helps others - it certainly will help me speed up my workflow.
