as I am new to this forum and do not find an answer to my question anywhere, I post it here. I have been using Logic Express 7 on Snow Leopard for years. After updating to Yosemite and to Logic Express 9 I am no longer ablet to open old Logic files. I am told "Open file with Logic Express 7.2.1 or older". Has anobody an idea, how I can get the old Logic Version to convert my old songs?

    Best regards from

LE9 should open version 7 project files just fine, as far as I'm aware. Or export from LE7 as AAF or XML, then import those into LE9.

Logic Express 9 will open logic projects created in version 5 or later. Projects from Logic versions older than 5 must first of all be opened and then saved in logic 5, 6 or 7. After that they may be opened in 9 or X.

    kind regards
