  1. Am I being totally stupid? When I drag single notes in the piano roll or score window I create a copy rather than move the original!!
This doesn't happen when multiple notes are selected.
I thought this only happened when one used the shift key at the same time. Is there something wrong with my mouse or my brain?
    any ideas???
What have I pressed that I should not have pressed?
    iMac 27' OSX 10.10.3 Logic Pro 10.1.1
  3. AH - I have just discovered that the midi input seems to be creating TWO notes which of course is invisible until you move one of them! This is just as big a mystery! What on earth have I done?

Open the Event List and record single notes. You should see in real time what type of events you MIDI Controllers is sending to Logic and record. This should give you a better picture to further trouble shoot.

Also, if you familiar with the Environment, go to the Clicks and Ports Layer and watch the Monitor Object when you play your external MIDI Controller to see what MIDI Events "arriving" in Logic.
