I've recently experienced, on 2 separate songs, corrupted crossfades on audio tracks when returning to the mix after a few weeks, insofar as they now have loud clicks instead of being seamless. Very odd, and I wonder of course if anyone knows anything about this?

Yes, it has been known to happen. The solution (or workaround) is to go to options ->audio and use the delete all fade files command. After that, Logic should rebuild the fades correctly.

    kind regards

it's happened to me a few times, usually right as i really need to jam something out the door (or up the ftp pipe...)

i wasn't aware of that work around, mark. thanks! that should be a time saver.

    happy halloween!

Hmmm, interesting, and thanks for the tip. Curious as to what causes this problem though and/or whether Logic are aware of it...
