First Studio Set up

Hi all, new to the forum, new to logic as well. looking to get a good set up going. I have MBP 15", Phonic Helix 12 Mixer, looking for a firewire connection so that I am able to record 4 separate tracks into Logic. Was thinking of the EchoFire Audio 2?? Would this set up allow me to do this?
