I picked up a great tip from MacProVideo.com - here:
    http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/mac-osx/reading-rss-feeds-in-mountain-lions-mail

In OS 10.8.4 there are no default apps that will do RSS feeds. The article above gives some options and the one I like is IfThisThenThat - a great internet tool!

Basically, what it does is set criteria (If This) which lead to an action (Then That). So you can automatically channel all new Apple Support docs to your mail as they're released.

Follow the instructions at the link above to set up an account and then start a new recipe.
Instead of the macprovideo URL in their example, use this:
    http://rss.support.apple.com/logic

There have already been several useful articles about Logic Pro X.
Hope this is useful to someone....
