Logic 9 How do you commit your flex markers?

I merge the audio file or use the glue tool after using flex and then turn it off. If the file is all one length I have to have a dummy audio file in there to make it work. It would be nice if it had a feature like PT where as you can easily render the flexed audio. How do you guys do it?

Bounce in place to a new track, with no effects.

Then I mute the flexed track, and hide it.

They must have fixed that in an update as I swear at one point logic didn't print the changed flex positions on the new bounce but mirrored the original track. I'll try that. I'm trying to commit 10 tracks of drums all at once with one command and merge works for that and doesn't force me to make a new track. I'll try bounce again though. Thanks.

I wish there was a "flatten" command like the take folders have.

Or a render thing built in like as in Pro Tools! I'm guessing we'll see some more things "borrowed" from other daws in the next big version of Logic:)
