Logic 9 How does the signal flow run

    How does a signal run through a channel strip in logic, As far as I understand, a signal runs from the top down...but my real question is the fader the last or the first in the signal flow.

    Normally the last.. the FX faders can be put pre fader, but even then they are at the end of the chin just before the fader.

    I was thinking it can't be good for the signal to be turned up and down throughout the channel strip (example, +5db compressor -7db eq +2db fader,ect.)....knowing where the fader is in the equation will help.

    Many, if not all, effects have their own respective control over the volume, either on the wet and/or dry signal...
