    Hi everyone,

Thought people in this section of the forum would be interested to know that Point Blank's range of online music courses now includes a songwriting course in Logic with Jonny Rockstar. Jonny has written and produced for the likes of Alicia Keys, Sugababes and the late Amy Winehouse. He will guide you through your 4 week course, passing on all his tips and tricks that he has picked up over years of making hit records. The course commences next week and there are still a few places remaining.

It features at least 4 hours of tutorial videos + in depth notes (all accessible for 12 months after the course finishes). The most popular part of our courses is the Direct Video Response (DVR) method of feedback: Each week you submit the project you are working on, then the tutor then records a screenflow video of himself working through your track and analyses what you have done well and what could be improved upon. He then gives back the video, original project + the project file he has worked on. You can also watch the DVRs of all your classmates multiplying the learning material by up to 15. This is as close as an online course can get to being in a 1-2-1 session in a studio with a professional producer.

Here is the link to the course which includes a full run-down of the techniques covered, a sample vid from the course and feedback from past students

if you are a beginner then this is a good place to start before moving onto the songwriting which is aimed at more advanced users - http://www.pointblankonline.net/logic-course-level-1.php

Please feel free to get back to me with any questions.

    Cheers!
