I can't alter my patch library order without Logic Pro thinking it needs to re-downlo

I'm attempting to change the order of folders and patches in the main library of Logic Pro X by going to Macintosh HD>Library>Application Support>Logic>Patches>Instrument and rearranging things and adding my own patches. It works brilliantly and the library is in my preferred order UNTIL I close Logic Pro X. Once I reopen the program it starts with the dialogue box you see when you first download it, and it downloads and installs the basic content. Once it finishes, my library is still in the same order, only with the patches it couldn't find (i'm assuming because they aren't in the spot it thinks they should be) added at the bottom (meaning lots of duplicates).

Is there any way to get logic to not freak out when it's patches aren't in the right order? some .plist i can alter maybe?
