Hi I've just started using Logic Studio 8 and I have a couple of projects that I would like to join together with the view of playing a live set. I have looked all through the manual but can't seem to find a way of pasting it all together into one long track. Any advice would be awesome : )

hi, you cant paste projects together
..you can however have multiple sessions open and whatever is in focus will play.So open them and stack them up..you can bring a session into focus using the"window" menu where at the bottom you will see all the session windows.

Be aware that logic will have to reload samples for (some) 3rd party samplers and Romplers when you change focus to the new session.. so it wont be seamless.

you could also import all the other sessions into one session , though this of course will take some tweaking in L8 using combinations of bouncing tracks and channel strip copying.. L9s track import would save lots of time.

    others will offer more advice.
