I noticed when using a friend's Logic 9 that he had more voices in his library than me. He had a whole JamPack Orchestral pack I didn't have in my Logic. So I found his under Users>Library>ApplicationSupport>Logic>SamplerInstruments and put them on my hard drive. I went home and added the Sampler Instruments folder to the same spot on my computer, but they are not showing up in Logic still. Is there a way I can get all these into mine?

When you installed Logic 9, did you download the xtra library form the Appstore. Or if you bought an earlier versionwith discs, then you should have got the jampack discs.

I did not download the extra packs. Does that mean there's no way to add them after the fact?

You open Logic, then under then main Logic menus (just under preferences) you should see download additional content. I would do this rather than copy stuff across as there's less chance of Logic not being able to find the stuff, an issue a few people seem to get when copying from another drive.
