Locking MIDI to timecode - possible?

    Hi
    Anybody know how (if possible) to lock midi events (or sound for that matter) to Timecode? Meaning it will stay in place when tempo is altered. For filmmusic cues...

    Yes. Under the Functions menu. Use the command "lock SMPTE position".You will then see a little padlock icon on the selected region or event.

    There are two key commands which should help you:

    "Lock SMPTE Position" and "Unlock SMPTE Position"

    i have been searching for that feature, but have no clue since the index or helpfile doesnt appear...

    LPX 10.0.7, Mac Prosessor 2,6 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, OS X 10.9.4 (13E28), MOTU Ultralite MK3. MacFive and NI plugins, thats about whats relevant?

    Have you switched Advanced Tools on?
