    Hi all,

I've just got this machine and wonder if anyone here has any comment on this combination. An Apple Logic tech suggested that it was time to upgrade to Logic Pro 10 as it would run better on this machine, i.e. 8 is designed a long time ago now - but they would, wouldn't they (ker-ching!!) ? Is that true, I mean does the architecture of the software get changed so much?

And does anyone have any experience generally running a lot of live audio tracks on this machine? I'll regularly get up to 30+ audio tracks plus some software instruments.. (and also, while we're on that subject, if you have say 10 takes of a drum track on 6 tracks, will that affect the efficiency, or will a good amount of RAM stand you in good stead?) if anybody has any comment on these secondary questions whatever version of Logic Pro they are on I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!
