Logic 9 Logic Pro CPU-overload solution.

    Logic Pro CPU-overload solution.


    LP tries to cram too much CPU-load into one core.

    Therefore the System Overload error message occurs again and again.


    To prevent this, do the following:



    1. Keep the large CPU-load meter open. Always, so you can see what is going on.

    2. If a core starts to peak in the red, do the following:

    3. Make a new AudioChannelStrip and put a CPU-heavy plugin on it.

    4. LP is now forced to redistribute the CPU-load using more cores.



    That's it.

    If LP doesn't redistribute, just copy the dummy channel strip until it does.
