Logic Pro (X) Low End Theory From Vinyl Sample

Can't find a tutorial on this anywhere.

Just trying to take the low end from my vinyl sample chop and use it for the bassline in my beat.

Perhaps you aren't familiar with the term. Here is some background information:

Presumably you would like to know how this might work in Logic? Amongst Logic's effect plugins you will find the Single Band EQ. This can be set up to work as a low pass (or, as it is also known, high cut) filter. Insert a Single Band EQ on the track your sample is being played on, choose High Cut from the list of filter types available. Adjust the Shelving Frequency, Slope and Q factor to get the result you are looking for.
