Logic X Missing presets for only some Logic Plug-ins

    Hi,

Just installed Logic 10.2.4 on my new MBP, running 10.11.6. (I'm running a slightly older version of Logic X in Mavericks on my studio iMac that I have to compare it to.)

    Haven't installed any 3rd party plug-ins yet.

It seems some of the Logic plug-ins in this version/install don't have presets any more, or, somehow I am missing them . . .

For example, the Compressor. I dig all the settings for the various models like "Vintage VCA", etc. but in the past there were also presets in the pull-down menu for various instruments to get you going--guitars, bass, whatever. They were handy. Now there's none.

Other plug-ins I'm noticing have no presets as well, and it seems almost random. Take Direction Mixer. Used to have some simple presets, but now I have none in this new install. Space Designer appears to have all the expected presets, but Platimum Verb has none!

I assume I'm somehow missing presets, or is this just how 10.2.4 is now?

In the Sound Library Manager, everything says "Installed", including the Legacy and Compatibility stuff, fyi.

I also asked about this over at Apple. I'll report back if I hear anything over there.

    Thanks!

    This is what worked:

    MAContent10_AssetPack_0541_PlugInSettingsGBLogic.pkg

    Plug-in Settings Installer
