    Hi all,
I need to use Logic with many different MIDI devices and for each of them create different projects.
However, when I define the various controller assignments (with Logic ProX->Control surface -> Controller Assignments) I have noticed that these are globally saved in the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

It is not possible to save and restore them for each Logic project.
To solve this issue, I have created a script that saves that file with the assignments associated to
a project, and restores it when I want to use that project.
To do this procedure, however, I need to restart Logic each time I restore that file.

My question is: is there a way to make Logic read the content of that file without
    rebooting Logic itself?

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

Unfortunately not. You have to restart Logic with your .cs file in place.

Within Logic you can only reset all assignments at once to their default state (Surfaces default, custom assignments empty).
