Hi there all, I'm an experienced logic user but need to get optimum performance regarding latency and how to record bang on time when routing my inputs through a yamaha desk/compressor and Focusrite saffire pro 40 soundcard. Output from the yamaha desk into the soundcard is via a pair of standard jack leads. Should I set the record delay compensation in audio preferences to offset the time lag. I can set the soundcard to zero latency tracking but its still not bang on. I'm running 9.1.6 on a mac Xeon 2.8 dual quadcore with 14gb of ram. Any pointers to getting the recording spot on and not having to move the recoding by a few samples every time I record something in would be great. Thanks in advance.
