Hi folks, I'm a newcomer to this forum and a novice user of Logic Pro. I have though, produced an album with the help of a much more switched on studio engineer.

I have a question for all you experts out there that has been bugging me since I discovered the vocal loops in the program. It is this; can vocal loops be used to create new loops with different words or are we restricted to the sounds and words in the loops as they play ?

My limited understanding would suggest that it isn't possible but then I wonder why so many loops of dubious usefulness have been included.

    Thanks for reading.

You can combine parts of loops to create a new loop. I don't think you'd be very successful trying to create new words, only the order they are heard.

The loops provide with Logic Pro cover a huge range of music styles - some loops will work for you, some won't.

Thanks Doug. I thought that would be the case. I appreciate your reply.

    All the best.
