Pitch segments gone haywire!

    see photo of my (single) vocal. as you can see, the segments might as well be from outer space.

    Atlas, visible segments often don't match the pitches in some takes (start & end points). sometimes there are multiple visible segments for each pitch.

    It is possible that some recorded parasite noises are detected and interpreted by flex, which yields to such idiosyncrasies...

    No. I record in my wife's super-quiet walk-in closet. It's a flex pitch issue that occurs often, but only on some takes...

    Are you using a balanced cable?
    Is there any fx between the mic and Logic?

    I've managed a (sort of) workaround for some of these haywire havocs:
    Splice the main track (not the take), turn flex off, restart computer, & sometimes you need to glue the splice back together. This SOMETIMES resets & solves the glitch/bug...
