    G'day

Having a weird problem with Logic Studio 8... when I try and take my project file and copy it to another drive (so I can email it to someone) it 'converts' the file into a new file called documentData.dat... which is completely useless, I can't find anything that opens this file other than text editor.

Anyone else had this problem? I am just copying the project file in finder from one drive to another. Driving me nuts! Any help much appreciated!!

I have seen Logic project files displayed this way when they are on a system that does not have Logic installed on it. The OS can't "file type" it - because there is no application present that allows it to be identified properly.

Aah... I'm accessing the other dry with a laptop to send the email, and the laptop doesn't have Logic installed. This must be the problem, I'll check it out.

    Thanks Eli :)

Edit - problem solved! Many thanks
