If I close an LPX project do the samples I have been using get purged from memory?

    TIA, Jay

Depends which Software Instruments you are referring to.
For third party instruments, they have mostly their own mechanism like NI
For Logic's EXS24 do the following:
    • Open the EXS24 Plugin Window
    • Click on "options" in the right upper corner, next to the "edit" button
    • From the popup menu, select "Preferences...", which opens the "Sampler Preferences" Window
    • In the Preferences window, look at the last checkbox: "Keep common samples in memory when switching projects"

Thanks for the info Ed. Sorry for the delay in responding - had family business to attend to.

    Kind regards, Jay
