So there I was with an all day session booked for today, and I decided to throw myself into the deep end and use Logic Pro X (One "session" in Logic X is the equivalent of about three days of manual reading for me!).

There I was frantically searching the quantize menu for the reliable old 1/12 value. It was nowhere to be found. Could Apple possibly have omitted this I thought to myself, in their never ending quest to democratize dance music production for all. I didn't see it in the heat of the session/moment. A future sober second look revealed to me that it is in fact there, but renamed - along with all the other triple meter based subdivisions. It's now called 1/8th triplet !

Which is of course what the rest of the musical world always DID call it :)

Yea, I thought so... One more example of Logic becoming a bit more "Logical" in LPX.

What's with Apple following the crowd rather than leading!!! ;)
