Logic 9 Random rests in notation

Occasionally a bar with notes in it will also display a bar (whole note) rest. The stave in question is not polyphonic and it is not overlapping another section. The notes in the bar are the same channel as the other bars without the problem. Is anyone else getting this and have you found a solution apart from disabling rests entirely and manually entering the ones you need?

I've not seen this. It could be a corrupt project, especially if you haven't seen it elsewhere.

Maybe post your file and I'll try (or someone else?) to look at it.

Sorry to be so dim, but how do I post the file?

Read the FAQ stuff for information on that. If you can't get that to work, you could e-mail me the file.

And I love her score excerpt

I couldn't attach the Logic file as only pdf's, jpeg's etc can be managed. You'll see the rogue rests in the Bass part bars 51 to 54. I'll email the arrangement to you.

    Update for anyone following this:

Got the file e-mailed to me and the only way to eliminate the rests was to delete the notes in the problem measures and add them in again. Very odd. Bug, operator error or corruption? I imported the file into a new project and the problem was there as well...
