Is there a basic ring modulator in the Logic effects library and if not, can anyone recommend a decent plugin, shareware or payware?

Sorry if I am stating the obvious, Pete, but just in case you overlooked it, how about Logic's Ringshifter?

    kind regards

There is a also good ring modulator inside the PedalDesigner. My personal fav though is third-party plugin Hematohm by the French Ohmforce.

Hi Mark, yes I looked at that before posting but it seemed to specialise in stereo use of swept RM fx and I wanted a dead simple one. I'll RTFM I guess :)

Ah, Roswell! I didn't remember its name. Pretty good for string instruments IMO.

Hi Per, PedalBoard doesn't work in Logic Pro 8 :-(

I need to work in there because inter[age editing links work better

Oops... didn't see you were talking L8. You are in fact posting in the LOGIC 9 forum! :)

Hi Per, Mark, I am using both L8 and L9 on this project - I use L8 for fine event editing and L9 for flex and mastering.

In this particular instance, if I found a good epiano sound unique to L9 I would finish editing in L8 then switch.
