hello. quick intro: I've had logic9 for over a year but have not really gotten used to it. honestly, I am more of a hardware user and haven't enjoyed using any daw yet (logic, live and reaper included).

But I really want to learn how to do one thing in Logic right now. I want to make sample chains for my octatrack.

what I need to do is have 16/32/64 equal length sound sections where each of my samples can reside. I have both multiple samples on one sound file and multiple individual samples. But I'll need the final 'sample chain' to be one file. once i have this file i can upload it to my octatrack and sample slice in equal parts.

I am very daw stupid and logic noob so if someone could please give me detailed help it would be so awesome.
