moved Logic 8 over to a "new" machine, after installing opened up a recent project and some of the (factory) loops were missing, (plus about 70% of the audio files were greyed-out and had to be located-even though they were right there in the song folder, that was fun...). I did a random check of the loop folders in Soundtrack Pro and typically only about 20% were there...I guess the rest just didn't install?? I've heard about problems with the installer but I can't find any threads about procedure to avoid this...do I just keep re-installing Logic and hope that everything gets loaded in? It's not exactly a quick install...
does this happen in Logic 9 as well? I have 9 on another partition but I haven't used it enough to know what issues there are.
