unpack audio to new tracks

When I unpack an audio track with several takes to new tracks, all the tracks react together when I try to solo or mute just one. This results in a jumble of tracks playing back at once. The whole point, I thought, of unpacking is so that one can deal with each track separately.
    TIA

Try using the on/off power button instead of the mute button. You will probably need to enable it from the Configure Track Header window.

Yeah, I did end up doing that. I think, IIRC, that when I disabled the topmost one, I could deal with the others. It was as if it still maintained the domination over the others like a comp track does.
Thanks again Eli. What a great help you are.
