    Hi,

I'm about to get one of the new Mac Mini server 2.6 GHz / i7 processor to use as a slave machine. I'm trying to figure out my external HD array. Anyone using USB 3? I currently use FW 800 and eSATA for external HDs. The mini doesn't have eSATA and I'd like to avoid buying the LaCie Thunderbolt hub if I can use USB 3 of which the mini has 4 ports. I don't know anyone who is using it for audio but the specs look good.

I know that it's too soon for there to be any reviews out yet on the new Mini. I'll wait for them to come out before leaping in. I suppose the noisiness of the mini was an issue with the previous model. Hopefully the new model has tamed this problem.

    Thanks!
