What is your opinion of Wavelab?

Are you using it? Just curious... (I respect your opinion)

I got Wavelab quite a few years ago, I think it was version 3 or 4, back when I was running LAWP. It is an extremely capable program, and along with Samplitude a reason why I have a Studio PC.

Just to cite one of several examples, Wavelab excels at surround mastering - one of my happiest experiences was to have a surround mix in DVD-A format presented at the "Tonmeistertagung" - the German Audio Engineers meeting organized every year in Leipzig by the VDT (Verband Deutsche Tonmeister).

Wavelab being available for Mac users is IMHO a very significant piece of news.

    kind regards

    Mark

I always knew it was the best choice for PC users (one of the only choices really) but didn't know if it was superior to Waveburner or Peak... I'm going to have to try to score a copy from Steinberg and evaluate it on the Mac now : )

    It certainly is significant news...
