what are these Key Command symbols?

    please see attachment.

    One symbol is a bit like a 3-bar fence; the other is a rectangle with a large 'X' superposed

    The rectangle full of dots (your "fence") refers to any key on the numerical keypad section of the keyboard.

    The rectangle with an X is the [clear] button on that keypad.

    You'll get these when you select [Learn by key position] in the Key Commands window, because you'll be specifically selecting keys from the numerical pad.

    thanks Colin - I have never noticed the 'clear' button!
    This opens up a whole new set of key commands :)
