LUG Member annual subscription
The Logic Users Group has always been a free user community, and will always remain so. The Logic Users Group forums, group buys, contests, articles, and so on are free to any LUG member. In the Services menu, the Hardware Database is available for all LUG Members.
The economic reality, however, is that to support a dedicated server, including server and bandwidth upkeep, technical support, and the link, costs money. In order to cover our costs, after much deliberation we decided to add advertisements to the site. We have taken pains to do our best to make the ads as unobtrusive as possible, while still being useful for generating revenue.
We understand and appreciate, however, that some members dislike ads to the point of distraction. Also, we intend to present the LUG with additional services that will cost us money to offer. In order to facilitate this, we have done is added an "annual subscription" option for those who wish to take advantage of this service. An annual subscription offers:
- An Increase in Private Messages (intra-forum emails to a member, not a forum) from 25 messages to 250 messages
- No ads!
- Future LUG services as to be determined
To subscribe to the Logic Users Group:
- Register as a Logic Users Group member on the Registration page
- Go to your User Control Panel (User CP) page
- Towards the bottom of the sidebar on the left edge of the page, click on Paid Subscriptions
- Purchase a yearly subscription to the Logic Users Group (you will need a Paypal account)
